Shaffer, Lasoski will lead feature tonight
King of the Outlaws will have to come from seventh in B-Main event

CHICO, CA (09-16-00) - With two nights of qualifying complete, the stage has been set for the 40-lap feature event on the Silver Dollar quarter-mile tonight.

After qualifying second on Thursday night and winning the preliminary feature event, Tim Shaffer of Aliquippa, PA. Shaffer, who drives the #11H Vivarin Eagle and will look to lead tonight's event much like he did on Thursday. Thursday's preliminary victory earned Shaffer $5000, tonight's event is worth $20,000 to the winner.

Joining Shaffer on the front row will be Danny "The Dude" Lasoski who finished second in last night's program and earned the outside starting position by means of his feature finish along with his third place qualifying time.

The second row in tonight's feature will consits of Sammy Swindell on the inside with Thursday night fast qualifier Mark Kinser on the outside. Row three tonight will have Friday night winner Daryn Pitman of Owasso, OK on the inside with Steve Smith Jr. starting on the outside in the sixh starting spot ahead of California's Brent Kaeding who will start on the inside of the fourth row.

Kaeding will be joined on the outside by Johnny Herrera as Brian Paulus and Tim Kaeding will complete the top ten starting positions.

Rounding out the A-feature line-up will be Donny Schatz who starts 11th ahead of Dale Blaney, Randy Hannagan, Jonathan Allard, Andy Hillenburg, Jac Haudenschild, Jimmy Carr, Joey Saldana, Jim Skinner and Dean Jacobs.

The B-min will transfer four positions into the A-main tonight as track locals Sean Fenn and Jason York will lead the line-up. World of Outlaws point leader Steve Kinser will be starting on the inside of the fourth row in this event. Complete line-up are avaiable in event programs, action will start at 7.p.m.
