Welcome To The Big Show
The staff and management of John Padjen Motorsports extends their warm welcome to the 47th Annual Gold Cup Race of Champions. This annual fall classic will feature four big days of open wheel and will boast an overall purse in excess of $130,000.

The millennium version of this event that is often sloganed as “the fastest four days in California” will kick off on tonight with the fourth annual Hoosier Racing Tires Civil War Pacific Sprint and Dirt Modified Cups. Both events are of the invitational nature for competitors with the Pacific Sprint Cup featuring the top 32-drivers from the current Hoosier Racing Tires California Sprint Car Civil War Race Series.

The Dirt Modified Cup will feature the top 22 drivers in the current Silver Dollar Speedway point standings as they battle it out for the final event of the season. This event offers $800 to the feature winner and will also determine the division champions and the final point standings for the tracks regular season championship. Following tonight’s opener, the official green flag will fall on the Pennzoil World of Outlaws as they take Thursday night in the first of three consecutive nights of WoO competition.
