Cancelled Civil War Event slated for "Wild Winged Wednesday" April 9th

PLACERVILLE, CA (3-18-08) - After the success of "Wild Winged Wednesday" events in the past, the officials of John Padjen Motorsports announced today that the recently rained out Civil War event at Placerville Speedway has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 9th.

"In an effort to protect the integrity of the series with a full 15-race schedule and not conflict with other participating race tracks we have decided to bring back the concept of 'Wild Winged Wednesday" to Placerville," explained Bill Sullivan, Communications Director of John Padjen Motorsports. "In the past the car counts have fared well in these make up events during the week and with increased marketing the fan response should be very positive."
